It is important to reflect on the events and people in history that have influenced the future. Several books have been published including “Pastor Richard Zarins. Life in two worlds”, written by Ineta Didrihsone-Tomasevska, and “Relations between Latvia and the United States in 1918-1922”, written by the University of Latvia History and Philosophy Professor, Eriks Jekabsons. Both books were published with the support of the Zarins family. This support allowed the researchers to visit archives in the United States. The University of Latvia wishes to further develop Latvian Literature.
